Food systems transformation can't be delivered by one actor alone
Food systems transformation requires policy alignment, technical expertise, financing capacity, and delivery experience, but these are rarely found in one place. The Accelerator’s coalition brings together complementary partners who each play a distinct role, spanning national governments, development finance institutions, UN agencies, technical organisations, and private sector platforms.
By working as one coordinated partnership, co-chaired by FAO and GAIN, this coalition reduces fragmentation, avoids duplication, and connects country priorities directly to finance and implementation. This enables faster decision-making, stronger investment pipelines, and more durable results than any partner could achieve alone.
